With over 20 years of experience and a doctorate in Architecture, Guzmán de Yarza is Global Design Strategy Lead at JLL Design, a leading interior design firm with nearly 700 architects and designers in 60 studios across 31 countries.
He helps global corporations implement progressive workplace strategies and evolve their portfolios towards new ways of working. Guzmán has led large-scale projects in both public and private sectors, with extensive experience in cultural transformation and change management. As an award-winning architect, his work has been featured in international design publications. He formerly served as Academic Director of the Master in Strategic Design of Spaces at IE School of Architecture and Design (2012–2020), a program created with the Royal College of Art.
Guzmán now leads JLL’s pioneering Inclusive Design framework, aligning built environments with DEI strategies, including accessibility, gender equity, mental health, and neurodiversity.
